Tech-tober season is in full swing as we witnessed a launch of yet another flagship, this time from One Plus, in the name of One Plus 6T. Successor to the One Plus 6, which the company launched in May this year, this is more of an iterative version with similar spec sheet but more of aesthetic changes in Design.
The One plus 6T is powered by the same Snapdragon 845 processor of the One plus 6, giving options of 6 or 8 GB of RAM along with 128 or 256 GB Of Storage. The 6T has a subtle water drop notch compared to the conventional notch of the One plus 6. It also houses a bigger battery of 3700 mAH compared to the 3300 mAH battery in its predecessor. Along with that it boasts an on-screen fingerprint sensor, present beneath the phone screen itself. Though one of the biggest changes is the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack from the device. This was surprising for a company which used to mock its competitiors’ phones for not having a headphone jack in their devices. The camera setup is the same as that of One plus 6 with dual camera setup ( 16 MP+20MP ) at the rear with f/1.7 aperture along with Dual LED and a 16 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture
It will be available in two colours ( Midnight black and Mirror Black ) in 3 variants (6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB) starting at $549.
